Make-up & Fitness Terms of Service

Clause 1: Deposits
All bookings require a deposit to secure your appointment or service. All deposits are non-refundable when you cancel 48 hours before your appointment, meaning if you cancel within this time-frame you will lose your deposit. Cancellations prior to the 48 hour period can be moved to another date. In the unlikely event that Millie needs to cancel the booking, you will receive a full refund of your deposit. The remaining balance is paid at your appointment.
Clause 2:
Travel or call out fees and charges
Millie's services are based in a home studio in Enfield. Mobile appointments incur a separate travel charge or call out fee dependent on the location. Usually, the travel charge will be worked out by a simple calculation of 45 pence per mile. An additional call out fee will be included if the location is difficult to get to or you have requested a studio appointment in the first instance and have later changed arrangements. These charges apply due to not being able to take bookings in the time spent travelling to and from the mobile appointment.
Clause 3:
Lateness and no-shows.
In the event you are running late for your appointment, please let Millie know as soon as possible. Lateness will eat into your appointment time so please consider this when choosing your make-up look as there might not be enough time to complete the full look if there are appointments after you.
If you do not show up to your appointment without a valid reason or without making contact at all, you will be invoiced for the whole amount of your appointment which will need to be paid as a penalty fee. Should you not pay the penalty, you will be sent a letter before action. If the payment has not been settled by the date stated on the letter, legal action will be taken against you.
Clause 4: Wedding bookings
The booking of the event is only reserved by paying a non-refundable booking fee of £80. This booking fee covers the cost of the client's bridal trial and provisionally holds the wedding date. The wedding date will be held for up to 48 hours following the completion of the trial at which stage a 50% deposit of the remaining Wedding Day cost is required to fully secure the date. The remaining 50% cost must be paid 14 days before the wedding date. Failure to pay the fee within the stated time can result in the event being cancelled by the Make-up Artist. The client has the responsibility to inform the Make-up Artist of any issues that may affect the use of any equipment or products. This includes but is not limited to sensitivities, allergies or skin conditions. The Make-up Artist cannot be held liable for any losses or damage that is caused due to the client's failure to inform the artist of any known condition. The Make-up Artist has the right to refuse to service the client or members of the party for, but not limited to, abusive and threatening behaviour.
